The Early Years
Kirby Smart was born on December 23, 1975, in Montgomery, Alabama. He grew up in Bainbridge, Georgia, where he attended Bainbridge High School. Kirby was an all-state defensive back in high school, and he went on to play football at the University of Georgia.
